Amazfit new lineup Amazfit GTS and Amazfit Stratos 3 to beat Apple Watch

Huami wanted to leave its mark at IFA 2019 too, so it announced a couple of new products (Amazfit GTS and Amazfit Stratos 3). The company announced two new smartwatches, also revealed concept technologies in the kind of the Amazfit X smartwatch.

Smartwatch look-alike Apple Watch – Amazfit GTS

Let’s talk about the Amazfit GTS first, will we. This smartwatch is reminiscent of the Apple Watch lineup. It sports an identical layout to the Apple Watch, and it appears considerably different than Amazfit’s previous releases.

This wearable includes a square screen, while the company is more vulnerable to launch wearables with curved displays. This smartwatch comes with a 2.5D curved glass on top of its display, and it includes a metallic body.

This view comes in six distinct colors, and is waterproof up to 50 meters. The watch comes with a silicone strap, and is 9.4mm thick. That is quite stunning once you consider that its battery could last up to 14 days, according to the organization.

This watch sports an AMOLED screen, also it includes a heartbeat sensor. This watch can track your steps too, and several other activities. You’ll also be able to look at the weather on the watch, different events, and so on. The watch actually comes with 12 distinct sports manners.

This smartwatch is powered by Huaim’s Bio Tracker optical sensor. This detector enables 24 hours of uninterrupted high-precision heart rate tracking, claims the company.

“Made for sports” – The Amazfit Stratos 3


This is the organization’s third-gen Stratos view, and this device comes with a circular display. Huami claims the Stratos 3 is”made for sport”. The watch comes with a transflective MIP screen, which is easily readable under direct sunshine.

This smartwatch contains four physical buttons, and includes a wearable strap. This view is capable of running up to 14 days, asserts Huami, while measuring your own heart-rate 24 hours a day. The Stratos 3’s GPS can always track the road from 35 to 70 hours, states the company. The device involves a three-mode / four-satellite GPS positioning processor.

Huami also partnered with Firstbeat so as to equip Amazfit Stratos 3 with professional-level sports evaluation attributes. Huami’s Bio-Tracker is contained in this watch too.

It is also worth noting the organization’s Amazfit GTR view has obtained the IFA Product Technical Innovation Award. This sleek-looking view was introduced a while back, and has now received some recognition in the form of this award.

The previous product that we will discuss is the concept view, the Amazfit X. Huami says this watch won’t be accessible until 2020, but it is going to feature a curved display.

The watch will include a 2.07-inch curved display, and we’re looking at a 326ppi HD display here. That’s quite stunning to get a smartwatch, that is for certain. The watch will incorporate a curved lithium battery, along with a 3-section motherboard.

The Amazfit Stratos 3 has 4GB of storage and 512MB of RAM. There is a built-in music player, so you can load it up with podcasts to listen to while you work out. It can track up to 19 different activities, has a continuous heart rate tracker and V02 max measurement.

In Ultra Endurance Mode, the Stratos 3’s 300mAh battery will last up to 2 weeks on a single charge while sports mode will see the battery life drop to half. It also has GNSS (GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, and Galileo) and NFC and has a 5ATM water-resistant rating. Of course, you also get notifications from apps and calls when paired to your phone.

There is a premium version called the Stratos 3+ (Sports Watch 3 Elite Edition) with Sapphire Glass instead of Gorilla Glass, a titanium bezel instead of stainless steel, and quick release fluoro-rubber straps instead of silicone straps.

Amazfit X

Finally, Huami teased a concept product that won’t be released until 2020. The Amazfit X is supposed to have a bracelet-like form factor with a 2.07″ curved screen, curved battery, and 3-section motherboard curved to fit the watch’s body. The display is said to be beautiful too thanks to a 326 PPI resolution and 430 nits of brightness. No other details have been revealed, but the render sure looks interesting.
