Jumper EZpad 6 2-in-1 laptop Pro review
Design
Jumper eschews the expected 3:2 aspect ratio of the Surface family in favor of a more traditional 16:9 screen. Overall the EZpad 6 Pro reminds us a lot of how Android tablets used to look – compared to some of the more expensive competition, this model has embraced a less premium finish.
The tablet has a power button and volume rocker, and in terms of ports, you get an audio jack, microUSB connector, full-size USB 3.0 port, microSD card slot, micro-HDMI and a power port. The only surprise is a pair of front-facing speakers. Ideally we’d prefer to have a multi-purpose power microUSB port rather than a proprietary connector.
Thick bezels – essential for holding such a large 11.6-inch tablet – complement the highly reflective, plastic screen overlay, which sadly also doubles as a fingerprint magnet.
Even the metal chassis has a cheap plastic feel despite its brushed aluminum finish.
At 297 x 183 x 16mm, the EZpad 6 Pro sits comfortably on an A4 sheet of paper which means that you will be able to carry it with ease in most folders. It topped the scales at 995g without the docking keyboard, and 1.29kg with it; that’s average for a convertible device with an 11.6-inch display.

Audio quality
The Jumper EZPad 6 Pro comes with stereo speakers, and I have to state they provide quite acceptable performance. This is not the case when we say you need an additional headset to enjoy listening to music. However, you can’t use those speakers when partying, because the sound volume is not that loud.
How long is battery life?
This model comes with a larger battery than its predecessor. Of course, 2000mAh capacity will provide longer life. But what does it actually mean? I have tested it for two hours setting the display brightness at 75%. During the test, I was watching video online, surfing the net, doing benchmarks, and other activity. The power consumption was 40%. Thus the Jumper EZPad 6 Pro can provide up to 5 hours at heavy use. On the other hand, you can make the tablet last longer if darkening the display brightness or using it ‘economically’.
Overall performance
Finally, as for the overall performance. The Jumper EZPad 6 Pro sport an Intel Celeron N3450 chip that is paired with a 6GB of RAM. In such cases, we like to say the memory size doesn’t play a big role because the SoC will do what it can. But the larger is better, isn’t it?
To understand what performance it can provide I tested the tablet PC via ‘Dragon Quest X Benchmark’. We usually use this benchmark when testing tablet PC. So it will be easier to compare the results with other models.
The EZPad 6 Pro scored 1914 points. In comparison to the Jumper EZPad 6 that runs on the Atom x5-Z 8300 this one looks more powerful, as the latter score 1536. These numbers show how the EZPad 6 Pro has got improved.
