Hoover H-Free 200 pets 3in1 cordless stick vacuum cleaner customer review
So much to like… yet battery issues from the get-go!
I have been on the market for a cordless hoover for a while and this product seemed to fit my needs perfectly particularly because of the hair issue I have with my Shih Tzu, Holly.
There is SO MUCH to like about this cordless hoover:
– It is lightweight while on the pipe attachment. When hoovering with other attachments (e.g. stairs) it is a little heavy, but this is to be expected.
– Really easy to manoeuvre when using the long pipe- turns corners and gets in all the small spaces I need
– The suction power is good. Not quite as powerful as my Dyson, but great for picking up during a daily vacuum.
– The light on the front is great (although a little mortifying when you see how much dust you would usually miss!)
– Really easily converts to handheld to get those last bits of crumbs in the hard to reach crevices
– The attachments are great- I particularly like the pet hair remover tool, which has done a great job on my stairs, and the dual function of the crevice tools which has an easily removable brush section to hoover more delicate objects.
– Emptying the hoover is so easy, although I would like it to hold a little more if I am nitpicking.
– The WHOLE HOOVER pretty much comes apart so you can clean out the device plus the filters easily and quickly.HOWEVER, there are two major issues for me:
– BATTERYFirst, and most crucially, the battery. There is no spare battery (which is disappointing for the price) and the runtime I have experienced has been much lower than advertised. For a full run through my home when the hoover is in standard mode, I only got 16 minutes and 35 seconds (rather than the 25 minute advertised) before the power went out. For me, this is just not up to standard, particularly for a new product!
– POWER SWITCH
Secondly, I find that the continuous power switch is too easily switched off while you are vacuuming. Multiple times I have flicked the switch by accident while cleaning and had to turn it on again. A niggly issue, but a problem! This button needs to be moved to a place where it is not so easily toggled in my opinion.
Other (smaller) issues:
– I found the instructions a little hard to follow- there are mostly images which are very small and hard to make out which attachment the instructions correlate to.Overall, a great product with so much going for it, but that pesky battery life is a major issue for me!
