Good Little PC with many Options
To start off with a this little pc is a good looking little device, even though its has a plastic case it finished really well and gives off a metallic look.
When looking over the device after unpacking it, i thought wow there a lot of IO on this thing. Almost as much as a normal desktop and certainly more than a laptop! So it has a MircoSD Card Reader slot, two USB3 ports, two USB2 ports, a microphone jack, an ethernet port, two hdmi ports, one VGA port and hidden underneath the top is a SATA data and power connector along with a tray for mounting a 2.5inch drive. It also features WiFi connectivity and a kensington lock compatibility.
With the included VESA style bracket this is something that can be nicely hidden away on the back of a monitor or TV, just pair it with one of those wireless keyboard and trackpad combos and you’re away.
With all the above it gives you so many options, I have mainly been using to browse the internet and consume streaming services. It coped very well with all that I threw at it I was pleasantly surprised. I tried watching HD YouTube content and then streamed live TV from a networked tuner and it just worked. I would think that you could maybe try a little browser based gaming but I’m not sure it something I’d recommend doing on this machine is not meant for gaming! I feel this would be perfectly with general office duties, or for something like info boards and the like.
This little PC does has a fan and when sitting beside you can hear it, but once you put it where you want it to be. I certainly think that it would be quieter than a standard PC and it will not detract if using it to make your TV smart as it is not noticeable once you start watching/listening to something.
This is good value machine to get you up and running very quickly, also allows expandability with the inclusion of the SATA data and power connector hidden under the lid. So there is no storage issues there given that you can expand, I tried a 1TB SSD and the drive appeared as expected and speeds were good.
Ideal for my requirements, pre-installed windows 10, good value
This Mini PC is very compact and portable but packs everything that you need for office and business in the palm of your hand. It has the Quad-Core Intel Celeron J4125 Processor and operates @ 2.0 – 2.7 GHz, which means that the refresh rate of this product has improved compared to its predecessor and is a very good and convenient tool for most office jobs.
The RAM is an 8 GB DDR4 with a storage of 120 GB mSATA SSD, which completely supports the processing units upgrade perfectly. The GPU is a built-in UHD Graphics 600, which supports DirectX 12, and is equipped with 12 Execution Units or EUs with a clock of up to 750 MHz. It supports three graphics output with 2 HDMI and a VGA port. This makes it an ideal portable mini PC to have during office and business presentations. Aside from the HDMI and VGA ports, this pc has 2 USB 2.0 port, 2 USB 3.0 port, 1 Gigabit Ethernet port and 1 Micro SD port. This enables you to connect multiple devices to this unit for better uses and access.
The computer’s wireless connection are a Dual Band WiFi 2.4 GHz and a 5.0 GHz that offers a speed of 450Mbps and 1300 Mbps respectively. This device also supports Bluetooth 4.2, letting you connect your external equipment like mouse and keyboard wirelessly.
Lastly, this device has been designed to be compact and portable, giving you the capability of having the power of a personal computer anywhere and giving you the ability to connect personal computer to any smart devices that you have at home like your tv, and use it as a personal computer for convenience. With the size of this PC you can simply hide it away from plain site.
In summary, does a good job at a good price.
