Pros & Cons – APOSEN vs MOOSOO vacuum cleaner

MOOSOO vacuum cleaner

Pros
-It really is lightweight. I can vacuum the ceiling no problem (because apparently, that’s a thing). It’s so light I could vacuum the wall with the head on if I wanted to (pic shown for funsies – not recommended)
-The swivel head makes it easy to go around the legs of my kitchen table, as well as scare the bejeesus out of my dog
-There’s a light on the head so you can see all the dirt you’re about to clean up. I like this because when I go back over it I can tell it actually got picked up!
-You can keep it standing up while it charges. Not sure why I like that. The cord is also long enough to hang it up if i want.
-IT’S CORDLESS. This is my favorite feature by far. I can go from my kitchen to the living room to bedroom to outside if I want to. AND it works on carpet, wood floors, AND tile. (I don’t have tile, but if i did, it would be clean)
-It’s pretty simple to clean. It comes with a hair cutter tool for the spinner brush if you’re like me and you shed more than your dog. The dust holder pops open and you can remove the filter and shake it off. There’s also this cool velcro wrap that goes around the exterior of the filter to keep it from getting clogged. One good smack against the wall and all the dust came right off. Reassembly took approximately 10 seconds. I’d love if someone could invent something that could clean up messes that you didn’t have to then clean itself, but it’s only 2019 so I’m holding out hope.
-The battery actually pops off the vacuum so if you need to charge it and for some reason the cord doesn’t reach, you can just charge it separately and then put it back on.
-It has two speeds: sucky and suckier. In this case, suck power is a good thing. I’m not entirely sure when to use each speed, but that can be chalked up to user error.

Cons
-TBH I haven’t really found one. Some people said the battery life is only 45 minutes, but let’s be real, if I’m vacuuming for 45 minutes, then the vacuum is doing me a favor by forcing me to stop.
-Now I have no excuse to not clean the floor. *sigh*

Aposen H250 cordless vacuum

Pros

– Lightweight so it’s not so much of a strain.
– Power button is a toggle, so you don’t have to hold it down all the time.
– Comes with extra attachments.
– The main roller head has LED lights that make it easier to see dirt.
– So far it has a longer run time over the Dyson.– It’s like 1/3 the cost of a Dyson!!
– Replaceable battery! very nice to have an option to swap the battery and keep going if you want.
– It picks up everything off the kitchen floor… no dirt left behind!
– Telescoping pole lets you use it as an upright stick vacuum or shrink it down to use in smaller/higher areas, or take it off entirely and use in a car. Just another option which is nice to have.

Cons
– It doesn’t have the same suction as a Dyson v8. I’m sure they are not in the same class, but that’s what I got to compare it against. The Dyson is sucking so much air that it’s blowing things off the counter as you walk by. Not so with this vacuum. It still sucks up all the dirt on the kitchen floor, so the Dyson is probably way overkill for what you need it for.
– The stick pole catches dog hair in it. When I pull the stick off the vacuum, you can see the slider mechanism inside is catching hair. I’m not sure if this will become a problem or not, but something to be concerned about.
– The roller head attachment isn’t quite a wide.
– The roller head wheels do not seem to roll quite as nice as the Dyson. They are still very good, but the Dyson just feels smoother when making it whip around corners. Not a big deal though.

The most notable quality this stick vacuum offers is its power. Within the stick vacuum, there is a 250W Brushless Motor. By having access to this motor, you have access to 18KPA of suction power. For a stick vacuum of this price, that is a lot of suction power. Since you have access to this much suction power, you can vacuum on hard and soft surfaces with ease, removing the dirt, dust, and debris that is on those surfaces.

MOOSOO vacuum cleaner

Within the stick vacuum, there is a 200W Brushless Motor. By having this motor, the stick vacuum can generate 17KPA of suction. That’s plenty of suction for most vacuuming tasks but it is less than the Aposen offers. For especially intensive tasks, it may not be ideal.
