What is good in Bagotte robot vacuum review 2020
- Ease of Use – Now that we know a thing or two about the BG700’s power, it’s time to talk about how it works. There are 6 different cleaning modes, and each one works a little bit differently.
- Single room cleaning is what it sounds like. You set up your vacuum in a single room, and it will clean that specific room, avoiding doorways.
- Auto cleaning means that your Bagotte BG700 robot vacuum cleaner will clean the entire house automatically. It will use its sensors to ensure that it’s gone over the entire floor.
- Spot cleaning is designed for cleaning up spills, or for getting extra coverage on high-traffic areas, like in front of a doorway. To spot clean, you’ll need to set your vacuum in the middle of the area you want to clean, set it to spot clean mode, and turn it on.
- Time scheduling allows you to set your Bagotte BG700 robot vacuum cleaner to clean at a particular time of day. In this mode, you can have the vacuum clean while you’re at work, so it won’t get in your way while you’re home. Simply set the local time, tell the vacuum when you want it to clean, and you won’t need to worry about it again.
- Edge cleaning allows you to specifically target the edges of a room. Since automatic vacuums travel in a random pattern, they generally do a great job of covering the middle of the room, and you don’t get as much coverage on the outside. By running an edge cleaning once a week, you can fix this imbalance and get the sides of your room as clean as the middle.
- Max power mode is ideal for tough messes or badly soiled rooms. It will drain the battery faster, though, so use this mode with discretion.
- To run the vacuum on demand, simply press the power button. This allows you to clean your floor whenever you like, without interrupting any scheduled cleanings. Of course, there are other features that make the BG700 well worth buying. Here are a few of them.
- Omni directional infrared sensors allow the vacuum to avoid obstacles. This will significantly improve its durability, since many automatic vacuums are constantly bumping into walls and furniture. Meanwhile, the BG700 will clean right up to the wall or furniture legs, but it won’t bump into them. Better yet, the sensors will also detect drop-offs like balconies and stairs. This can save you a ton of wear and tear, since your vacuum won’t suddenly tumble off an edge.
- Doorway magnetic strips ship with the BG700. These allow you to limit the vacuum to a single room for single room cleaning mode. Simply lay them across the doorway, and the BG700 will turn back before hitting it, just as if it were a wall. And the strip is very thin, so you won’t catch your toes on it and trip. Now, most people don’t have a bunch of large magnets lying around their house, but keep in mind that magnetic toys and other magnets can confuse the BG700 when it’s operating in single room mode.
- Cleans any floor type. We’ve already talked about how the BG700 works on any type of floor, but it also has thick, rubbery wheels that can cross transitions with ease. This means it can transit on and off of area rugs without interruption.

How effective is Bagotte robot vacuum cleaning performance review?
To assess the overall performance of the Bagottee BG700 robot vacuum, we put it to the test in our at-home testing lab, where we made a big mess and saw how the Bagotte handled it. Our mess consisted of a mix of debris, including: cereal, rice, kitty liter, and sugar.
Overall, the cleaning performance of this robot vacuum was consistent with the performance we see from most of these Chinese-made robots — pretty good, not flawless.
The performance on hardwoods was near perfect (99%) and the performance on carpet, both high and low, showed consistent signs of struggle with fine debris, like sugar. (93%)
- Overall 95%
- Hardwood 99%
- Low Carpet 93%
- High Carpet 93%
Cleaning Hardwoods
On hardwoods, this robot vacuum breezed through, capturing 100% of the cereal, kitty litter, & rice and leaving negligible amounts of sugar on the testing lane. All in all, this was a solid performance this robot is a great performer on hard flooring.
Cleaning Low Carpet
On low carpet, the vacuum struggled a bit more, capturing most all of the cereal, kitty litter & rice and having worse performance on the fine debris. On average, it cleaned 93% of all of the debris dropped.
Cleaning High Carpet
Cleaning high carpet, the Bagotte had pretty much the same issues. Again, performance of sugar cleanup was less than the other debris types. Typically, high pile carpets is an area where robot vacuums struggle. However, the Bagotte managed to perform equally as well on high pile carpets as it did low pile.
