Case, cover & design
The case is absolutely deluxe too. It has a nice felt interior to keep it safe. It fits really nicely, while not adding much to its size when I stow it in my laptop bag. The extra protection is definitely worth the added bulk. It has a nice pocket which holds all of the associated cables too. It has a great folio style cover which also works as a stand to make it easier to work with. It can adjust the angle a bit, so you can find the right angle for you. One thing that really stood out to.
Me was that it not only came with a screen protector, it came with two of them. I ALWAYS screw those up the first time, so I was really impressed that they planned for that. I appreciate when a company accepts reality when they could have cheated out but didn’t. All told, it looks great, works great, and does everything I need it to. It came with everything to make it work, which is always a plus for me.
Dimension
The dimension of this monitor is 355mm * 213mm
The screen visual area is 344mm * 194 mm
The resolution is 1920 x 1080
USB-C connectors
I like that I can connect it with just the USB-C on my Lenovo, but on my dell I can connect it with the usb cable for power and the hdmi cable for signal. That kind of flexibility is really nice, and definitely adds a lot of value to it for me. It comes with all the cables you need too, so no scrounging or sourcing cables. It has a usb-c to Usb-c cable, a usb-A to usb-c, and a full size hdmi to hdmi. That’s everything I needed.
Does this monitor compatible with Switch or MacBook?
Switch dock is not required. Connect the “Type-C” port of the monitor to your switch by a USB-C cable(included in the package), and plug in the Switch orignal PD wall charger to the “PD” port of the monitor.
Yes, it works with macbook pro by single USB-C cable connection.
Connect with multiple monitor – Cocopar 15.6 inch portable monitor
I’ve been using multiple monitors at work and at home for decades, and feel the most natural when I have two or more screens. Using one screen feels primitive, and barbaric to me. I’ve been using multiple monitors with my laptop for a while, but it is always clunky and a pain to deal with. Like seriously, using an average 15” LCD desktop monitor is not optimal, but it was getting me through. The base came off easy, and I could stow it in a backpack relatively simply. It was just so much extra bulk. I nearly needed a suitcase just for my laptop. Not really the portable setup I wanted. So this monitor is a godsend.
Resolution good for gaming and professional work
It has amazing resolution, and looks beautiful when I’m using photoshop, premier, or Cubase, propellerhead, cool edit, or honestly, everything I throw at it. And gaming looks great on it too! Diablo 3 has never looked better on my laptop. The black is black, and the colors nice and crisp. It’s absolutely stunning. It looks better than the built in monitor on my junk Dell, and also better than my new Lenovo to be honest.
Does this remember the brightness and other settings if it goes to sleep or is powered off?
If you provide an external power for the monitor by connecting wall charger to PD port of monitor, all settings will be saved even after monitor powered off and all cables unplugged, the brightness will recover to the previous value once you plug the wall charger again, no matter whether you’re using HDMI port or Type-C port for display.
But if you’re using single USB-C connection for power and display and no external power supply, brightness setting will not be saved, this design is to avoid that the
monitor is unable to work when connected to phones which could not provide enough power for monitor with high brightness setting.
