  • Screw one Rotisserie Fork onto one end of the Skewer.
  • Push the Skewer through the center of the chicken or meat you wish to cook until the Rotisserie Fork pierces the food.
  • Place the second Rotisserie Fork onto the other end of the Skewer and push it along the rod until it pierces the other end of the chicken and then tighten the screw in place.
  • Place the assembled Rotisserie Fork into the Base Tray making sure that the longer squared section at the end of the Skewer engages with the Shaft assembly hole on the main body of the Cooker. Place the shorter squared section on the Shaft Bracket.

Always check that there is sufficient space above and below for food to rotate freely without causing an obstruction.

Love this Air Fryer – enough space to feed 5

I LOVE this air fryer. We are a family of 5, so I needed something large to cook enough for everyone. I can absolutely cook enough for everyone in this. There were a lot of product reviews about closing it being difficult. I did not find this to be the case at all. – You need 2 hands to open it, (which sometimes being a mom of little ones, you don’t always have) – 1 hand to close the lid, and 1 hand to pull the pin. Its not difficult. In addition to healthy frying option, I have noticed that some foods that we love to grill, come out better in this, such as turkey burgers, and zuchini.

Awesome Product!

I was hesitant to purchase this item and so GLAD I gave it a shot. I am VERY satisfied with the product and how easy it is to use and delicious the food tastes. We have made fish, chicken and the BEST prime rib my husband and I ever tasted. It cuts down on cooking time, it’s easy to use, easy to clean and does not heat up the kitchen. If I had to state an issue the close button really needs to be changed and the only reason this is a four star rating.

Large Size is great, but could use some modifications

I think the top lid design was a bad call for the large one and very poor thinking on how you close it (pulling the lock out at the very back while manipulating the lid down 😢).

Also cleaning the inside wire/mesh basket is dangerous (sharp edges). Both wife and I cut our fingers cleaning it). It is not “Nonstick” and everything sticks to it, making everything difficult to clean.

Otherwise cooking performance is great. I love the larger capacity to fit a lot of things. Our extended family owns all sizes, we are finding ourselves grilling less in our outdoor grills less these days.

Does this have a drip tray to catch oil while cooking in basket?

I recommend this air fryer Copper crisping basket with grease pan it sets on. On Amazon, search using the words: Copper Ceramic Crisping Tray, Choose Size, Great Air Fryer to Make Crisper Fries, Wings & Mode, Non-Stick, Dishwasher Safe. (Circle). You can also use this as a second shelf by placing it atop the shelf supplied with the air fryer.

Can the rack be used to cook 2 different foods at the same time?

There is an extra “shelf” or rack that you can put in the drawer that allows 2 layers to be cooked, but this is an AIR FRYER. It depends on free air flow and plenty of it. One layer is bound to block the other and neither layer will cook as well as if you are cooking only a single layer. If you want to do this at least don’t fill either rack so that air can still circulate as much as possible. EG don’t fill one rack with fries and the other with burgers because neither will come out as well and it will take longer to boot.

Still the extra shelf could be useful to keep lightweight objects from flying up into the heating unit. I had to use skewers to weight down lightweight items or the Philips air fryer would blow them up into the burner and set them on fire. I don’t know if this air fryer has that strong an air flow, but just in case

Do you need to add any oil at all ?

If you like, you can use a high flash point oil (Avocado Oil) for say, rubbing it all over a chicken to keep it really moist with a crispier skin. If cooking fries, you can also place a teaspoon or more of oil in a bowl, put the fries in it and roll the fries around to coat all fries and it will result in a browner, crisper skin.

Can this cooker cook meat without flipping half way through?

If it is a thin cut or hamburger yes, I know this because I often forget to flip. Thicker cuts like thick cut pork chops, steak, chicken legs or bone in chicken breast you would need to flip since the top side get over cooked and the bottom undercooked and on chicken the top skin is crispy while the bottom side remains soft. Might I add when I cook meats I place them in a foil pan to make easy clean up, so that may affect the way it cooks
