NuWave Brio 3Q air fryer reviews – does it have rotisserie function?

Crispy fries without all the oil? That’s the golden promise of air fryers, and it probably explains why, in the U.S., about 4 million were sold in just a year. That represents a tenfold increase in two years, according to the market research firm NPD Group. The NuWave Brio 3Q air fryer is one of them and produces crispy and delicious foods consistently, and it makes the whole process fast and easy. NuWave Brio 3Q air fryer reviews

The NuWave Brio air fried more evenly than most from one end of the basket to the other. Also, this machine adds a level of multitasking and ease of use that sets it apart. The Brio can air fry, bake, roast, broil, toast and grill right out of the box, and it has a smart interface and a compact design. Cleaning the wire basket is a little bit of a pain, but the level of crispiness was worth it. Find more in NuWave Brio 3Q air fryer reviews.

NuWave Brio 3Q air fryer reviews

Design

NuWave Brio 3Q air fryer is cylindrical shape and its dimension is 9 x 9 x 12.5 inches. It weights around 7 pounds.

Accessories

You get many extras with this unit, including a baking pan and muffin cups so you can make desserts in addition to snacks and meats. There are also additional racks to facilitate roasting and grilling. Since the Brio is much more compact than your oven, and most toaster ovens, it can do all of these tasks very quickly, albeit in limited quantities.

Setup and use

We set it up and started making food quickly. It was noticeably easy to use in almost every way. Details like a built-in cord wrap to cut down on clutter and a chime that informs you when the basket is in place and ready to cook are part of what sets it apart from other air fryers. It was hard to tell if the basket was in the right spot in other air fryers.

Noise

There were a couple others that were louder, but this one was noticeably noisy. It is not something you would think of right away when preparing to purchase an air fryer, especially since deep-fat fryers are loud too, but it is somewhat annoying to have to talk over the Brio. If you prefer an air fryer that generates less noise, consider the Power Fryer XL.

Cleaning process

The air fryers that prepared the crispiest and most evenly cooked chicken and fries were the ones with wire baskets – like this one – instead of thick metal baskets with large holes cut out of them. Unfortunately, the wire basket ones were harder to clean. We struggled and scraped at first but then decided to soak them all for a bit. The Brio’s basket was still harder to clean than a lot of others, but the crispy food it produced was worth it. Although we cleaned it by hand, this basket can go in the dishwasher.

Safety and warranty

The Brio is great in terms of safety considerations. It shuts itself off at the end of a cycle and stays securely in place thanks to skid-resistant feet. In our tests, it remained cool to the touch, even when it was mid-cycle.The warranty only lasts for a year. That is fine, though some machines offer longer ones.

2 weeks with my Brio

I have had my Brio for 2 weeks and have used it daily. It is quiet, and the food comes out super crisp and fresh. I have made fries, nuggets, wings, fish, toast my breakfast sandwich daily, it’s simply amazing how much it has helped me around in the kitchen.
I highly recommend getting the accessories as well.
Cons: it is a big machine and occupies a huge space on my counter, can’t really have anything behind because it gets warm. It is a bit of a pain to wash. I usually leave it in the sink soaking up with some detergent then I put it in the washing machine.

Overall it was a great purchase and I recommend it to anyone.

Excellent product

I wanted something that my son could use to easily make easy food like grilled cheese, wings and fries. Not gourmet food but simple stuff teenagers like and have it taste good. Also would be nice to have something that wouldn’t heat up the kitchen in Texas in Summer. So I ordered this b/c it’s “Amazon’s Choice”. Well, it would cook for about five minutes then just short out and stop cold. No matter what I did it would just do dead or not start up. I was curious that they shipped it to me in the actual box, imagine if you got it from Best Buy put a label on the box on the shelf and hucked that into a FedEx truck. Anway, after reading reviews about air fryers on thewirecutter.com I’m now no longer looking at air fryers at all. Cheers.

Best Thing Yet

I received my brio about a week ago, and I have been cooking something everyday. Steaks, baked potatoes, asparagus, whole chicken. The only problem I have and it has me a little nervous is the grill pan. It sits EXTREMELY high in the basket. I’m talking just below the brim of the basket. From videos I have seen on YouTube and photos, it should be sitting in the basket. I have tried a couple of time to chat with someone, but I can not get someone to help me. I love this air fryer, but I am terrified to use this grill pan because Im terrified either the food is going to burn sitting so high up, or it is going to flip over into the basket when I would try to open. need help quick

Without Grill pan

Very disappointed that it didn’t come with a grill pan, and that is a standard accessory on other models. I felt like I was deceived. I wish Amazon would alert the buy to the reason why the item is less expensive that others. Basically, I have something to make french fries, but can’t to the basic cooking without ordering the accessories.
