CyberPowerPC Luxe 2080 gaming PC – Intel Core i9-9900KF customer review
CVery happy – 5 stars
I bought a CyberPower i9-9900k/RTX 2080/32GB RAM/480GB SSD version and I have to say this system simply is beastly!! Easy and quick to setup – switches on and is ready to go right out of the box.
I upgraded from a very humble (in comparison) ASUS ROG gaming laptop and intentionally was looking to buy a real high end PC for FPS gaming. I got it with this and now can run all my fav AAA games on 150-200fps ultra settings. Can also now achieve 144hz gaming and the difference to 60hz is just mind blowing.
I have been impressed with the standard of parts used (Corsair/Cool Master/MSI) and the build quality. My only small gripe is that the SSD idles at ~50C which is a little warm. It doesn’t seem to be causing a problem now, and it is well within the manufacturers guide temp, I just hope it doesn’t cause problems later on. Under max load it goes up to 60-65C. Everything else runs at 25-30C idle which is fine.
Would definitely recommend! There are some bad reviews for CyberPower PC online but these seem to be mostly for USA. Don’t be put off by them. Extremely happy with my purchase!!
Good machine, when it works. terrible support.

When spending over 2k on a product you expect it to last longer than a year, yet alone 6 months like mine. I fully understand computers have complications from time to time and that working parts brake over time, but the support given by Cyberpower was awful. I was just out side of the free return window by a week, the actual issue occurred and was noted to them inside this period. My system started to deteriorate and the problem was not clear, although it appeared to be the Ram tests found nothing wrong in fact no tests on any components found anything. I had to wait weeks before they actually decided they would take it back and sort it after experiencing weeks of blue screens and crashes with failed boot ups to top it off. I was not told what the issue was and I’m not fully certain that they actually found the issue. Every time I asked they dodge the question and the only difference was they exchanged the ram sticks.
They are very clearly understaffed as getting in contact with them was very time consuming and also were very unresponsive to queries. Considering the amount of money I paid for the item returning it and getting it sorted has been very stressful and incurred even more cost. I have little faith that the machine will last and problems won’t reoccur. The product is enjoyable when it work but I am constantly expecting issues to happen. I would have gone elsewhere if I knew and avoided Cyberpower like the plague.
