Naipo shiatsu foot massager reviews

I bought 3 different foot massagers to figure out which was best.

Foot Massager Review
Intro: We bought 3 foot massagers for the holiday with the intent of keeping one (Naipo, Nursal and Marnur). We love massage and were not ready to shell out thousands for an automated massage chair. When reading the features and reviews, we simply couldn’t tell the difference between these three highly rated Amazon foot massagers online. So I decided to buy three so I can give my review. I was not provided these by the company for my comments. I paid for them myself and am providing my personal opinions. I am a male with size 10 ½ feet. My wife has size 8 ½ feet. Keep in mind all three massagers offer the same features (heat, three massage modes, three intensity levels).

Naipo Foot Massager Model MGF-F15
A little harder to get your foot into but that is because it has the tightest fit (which is what you want to massage your entire foot). It is our favorite massager as it not only “grabs” the whole foot, and because it is constantly massaging some part of your foot at any time. The other massagers don’t do that; they seem to repeatedly inflate airbags, hold, and stop for a second, two or three as the air releases. The Naipo has a constant wave motion of nodules under your feet while the airbags squeeze one area and then move to another.

The Naipo also comes with what looks like shoe cushion inserts to lay on the bottom of the foot wells. These inserts make your foot fit slightly more snug but also softens the pressure point nodules under your feet giving you the option of making them less intense. The inserts were not too snug for my male 10 ½ size feet. The intensity is great on the Naipo and unlike any of the other massagers, mode three on the Naipo is JUST airbags; no pressure point nodules. Also to note – the Naipo was the quietest foot massager of the three. The Naipo was also the most expensive. I guess you get what you pay for in this instance.

Nursal Foot Massager Model MD-50230A
This is a really nice machine and a close second to the Naipo. First, the foot well opening is much wider and easier to insert your feet. But once you turn it on, it grabs your foot nicely. A little noisier than the Naipo and we found hearing the constant release of air from the airbags annoying. The massage is not constant. The airbag squeezes and holds, then everything stops for 2 seconds as the air is let out. It’s not bad. Just different. It hugs your foot in a good way and massages everything from the back of the heal to the balls of your feet. It does not, however, massage your toes.

Marnur Foot Massager Model 50020A
Similar to the Nursal, you hear a lot from the air compressor filling and releasing the airbags. It fills the airbags and as the airbags release, nothing else happens for a second or two. Overall, the unit did not seem as substantial as the Naipo or the Nursal.

Best Foot Massager! Great Purchase!

This is one of the best purchases ever! I love this and use it every day. At first I was a little afraid it would hurt my feet but I bought this because I wanted something like a real foot massage. It kind of applies pressure surrounding the entire foot and then the balls come up into the foot, kneading the various points. My feet have a huge bone protrusion and it hurt there at first but after adjusting the position of the foot, it’s great and has made a difference in quality of life and health. I would advise you to use this starting out knowing where the power button is so that at any sign of discomfort, you just click it off and re adjust. Also, this device is a solid, well built and high quality item.

How does Naipo shiatsu foot massager work?

Foot massagers are capable many functions and styles of massage. To help you understand the differences between these we’ve provided you with a quick breakdown of the styles.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese massage method based on traditional Chinese medicine that uses pressure from the hands to knead the muscles. Foot massagers with Shiatsu settings or styles have rotating heads or vibrators to simulate a masseuse’s hands. Sometimes these massagers will incorporate heat as well.

Compression

In compression massage the main therapeutic tool is the direct application of pressure in order to relax, cleanse and rejuvenate the muscles. Compression helps dilate the capillaries and therefore is a beneficial form of massage for people with circulation issues. Foot massagers with compression settings have auto-inflation settings to apply pressure to the feet.

Heat

An excellent way to loosen the muscles is through heat. Heating has many positive effects, including increasing your blood flow and reducing muscle tension. While heat itself is not a massage technique – it is often used in conjunction with other types of massage, or as an added setting on a foot massager, helping muscles to relax further and ensuring you reap the benefits.

Infrared

Through invisible waves, infrared rays penetrate deep into the muscles and bones of the body to provide many healthy benefits. Infrared elevates the surface temperature of the body to relax stiff muscles and can also increase blood flow. Much like other forms of heat, infrared is not a massage technique in itself, but is often used in conjunction with other massage styles.

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is a massage style based on the use of water pressure to treat the body. Water pressure is used to relax muscles, increase circulation and relieve muscular pain caused by a range of conditions or injuries. Hydrotherapy foot massagers often use a combination of jets, bubbles, vibrations, lights and/or heat to provide a comprehensive experience.
