Pros
– Suction seems to be great at picking up hair and regular debris.
– It moves extremely well and is very easy to maneuver around objects and in between corners.
– The light at the end of the vacuum is a great feature and really helps make sure you get everything picked up.
– The install of the charging station and tool mount was very easy and simple.
– Handles pet hair very well, I have a golden and a lab and this vacuum gets their hair up without clogging.
Cons
– It does not stand up on its own, it is very top heavy and always seems to fall over no matter how you lean it against something. This makes stopping to move something out of the way very difficult.
– The dust canister is made from very cheap plastic and has already cracked after only two months of use. This may have been from it falling over or simply from emptying it into a trash can. It just feels very cheap.
– It seems to lose suction when you detach the stick and use it as a handheld vacuum.

Useful for pet owner
You probably noticed that the vacuum has the word “pet” in the title. There’s a very good reason for this, and that reason is because this stick vacuum uses a Tangle-Free Brush Roll. Bissell has patented this particular brush roll, and it’s an excellent brush roll that does a couple of things.
For one thing, this brush roll is great at removing dirt, dust, and debris from every surface that you’re vacuuming. It picks up all of those things effortlessly, even on softer surfaces. But, what’s especially nice about the brush roll is that it’s “Tangle Free”. This means that hair and fur are unable to become tangled within the brush. If you’re vacuuming up pet fur and hair, then this is an excellent brush roll to have, because it makes things so much easier for you, when it comes to removing pet fur and strands of hair.
Use both as stick and handheld
If you’re just using the regular vacuum, you’ll have a very easy and pleasant vacuuming experience. This isn’t just due to the design, though, but also the sheer power that you have access to.
One of the best design features is that of the handheld vacuum that you can convert the main vacuum into. With the press of a button, you can turn this stick vacuum into a handheld vacuum, and when you do this, you have more mobility and flexibility. This makes it easier for you to vacuum in tight corners and crevices, as well as on couches, chairs, and other objects.
Much of this power comes from the Digital Motor, which spins at 420 miles-per-hour. In comparison to an upright vacuum, that isn’t too fast, but for a small and lightweight stick vacuum, that’s a lot of power. Using this power, you’re able to vacuum on a wide variety of different surfaces, such as hard floors, soft floors, as well as upholstery, along with plenty of other surfaces. But for rugs, carpets, and upholstery, the vacuuming process can take a bit of extra time, simply because those surfaces require a lot of suction.

Great Vacuum!!
I love this vacuum! It sucks…in a good way. My house has not been this clean and free of dog hair and bird feathers ever! I am a vacuum hoarder…according to my husband. I have to admit I have probably owned almost everyone out there. My last one before this, the shark rocket pet model, was and is good and I do love it…but the cord! I am on one floor and my rooms are large so plugging and unplugging and getting caught on stuff is a pain. I grab my little Bissell ICONpet Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner and away I go !! I zip from room to room in no time, so effortlessly I use it everyday. My floors are spotless. I read complaints about the battery not lasting long but I haven’t run out while cleaning yet. I was surprised how well it went from carpets {thin and thick} to bare floors. Also I not only picked up the hair from my constantly shedding lab to picking up bird feathers and crumbs from the birds cakes {usually a vacuum is good for one or the other}. Another plus..the air vent is at the top so it doesn’t blow those tiny down feathers around the room like my other vacuums did. Over all this had been one of the best purchases for the price that I made all year.
