What’s the difference between the s30 and the S20?
Both have Android 9.0, 3GB RAM, 32GB onboard memory & microSD card slot for up to 128GB extra storage, same 1.6ghz octa-core main processor.
Differences:
Display is 1920×1200, while S20 has 1200×800,
S30 has BT 5.0 vs S20 BT 4.1
S30 has speakers along the bottom edge (opposite from the front-facing camera), while the S20 has speakers on the short edges
The S30 uses a USB-C for charge/data, while the S20 uses micro-USB…This allows for (somewhat) faster charging & data transfer
And for only a $10 difference, I’d buy the S30 (I have both)

VANKYO MatrixPad S30 10 inch octa-core tablet customer review
So far, so good.
This tablet is new. I just received it today, so I cannot tell you about long-term usage or dependability, but my initial impression is good. I needed something to replace a Lenovo Chromebook that couldn’t even keep up with me as I typed, but my funding was limited, so I decided to take a chance on this tablet, partly because I saw many other reviews that referenced the same issues. I think it will work well. So far, it keeps up nicely as I type on a Bluetooth keyboard. It paired easily and quickly, and if there is any lag, I haven’t noticed it.
I wanted something to read my comic books on, and this screen is sharp and crisp, allowing my comics to be presented clearly.
I tested out video calls using Messenger. The camera isn’t great, but it gets the job done. There was a bit of a lag, but if you’ve used Messenger, you know it’s likely to be the program, not the tablet.
Chrome is pre-installed. I ran an update, and it’s fast and easy.
The sound is a little tinny, but it’s loud enough to be heard. The speakers are on the bottom of the tablet, so if you are watching a video in wide screen mode, that could be the reason for the sound quality issues. It’s not enough to be a problem for me, but if you really need perfect sound, it pairs easily with wireless earbuds or has an input for wired earbuds/headphones. (In fact, you have to use wired earbuds/headphones if you plan to use the FM radio function.)
The screen quality is good. It’s a crisp, clear glass screen. It does make the tablet heavy. You don’t really realize that two pounds is heavy, until you try to hold a tablet weighing just over that, but you realize it pretty quickly with a two pound tablet. It’s HEAVY. I’m using it with it propped up on my keyboard, so it’s not an issue for me, but if you plan to hold it much, like to read, you probably want to realize that ahead of time. One thing: heavy plus glass equals breakable. Go ahead and use a screen protector immediately. I have a tempered glass screen protector arriving tomorrow, and this review will be the last time I use this tablet until it is safely covered.
The body is plastic, which I knew and expected. Again, not a problem for me, as it’s in a case, anyway, but something you might want to know. Since the glass is heavy and the back casing is not, it increases the likelihood that if it’s dropped, it will land face down on the glass.
Movies and video play seamlessly.
I like it. It’s inexpensive, and I think it will suit my needs perfectly.
